Dummy Hub, Clever Tool

The Park Tool DH-1 Dummy Hub makes for easy chain cleaning or bike transport with the rear wheel removed. Also called a sleeping hub, the DH-1 slides into rear dropouts and replaces the rear wheel for chain cleaning and transport. It uses a quick-release cam that mounts to the drive-side dropout so the chain can be inserted into the pulley in lieu of a cassette. The sliding design means the bike can still be shifted while in use, and it’s compatible with most standard chain and frame sizes.
